What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Who we are
LaunchDesk is a private business services company in Orlando, Florida. We are not a law firm or government agency. This policy explains how we handle personal information on our website and when providing business formation and document-preparation services.
2. Information we collect
Account and order information: name, email, phone, and payment status (card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
Formation details: proposed business name, description, address, ownership and registered agent information, and documents you upload — only what is needed to prepare your filings.
What we don’t collect here: Social Security numbers are never collected through ordinary website forms, email, or SMS, and are never included in our emails. EIN-related taxpayer information is handled through a separate secure process.
3. How we use information
To provide and fulfill your order, prepare and (with your authorization) submit filings, communicate order updates, process payments and refunds, provide support, secure our services, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Website analytics
We use our own first-party analytics — no third-party advertising or tracking networks. When you visit, we record page views and clicks on links and buttons, the referring website (domain only), device type, browser and operating system, and approximate location (city, region, country) as provided by our hosting provider, Vercel. We do not store your IP address or query strings, and we do not record what you type into forms.
A first-party cookie named ld_sid holds a random, anonymous session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. It is not linked to your name or email. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not collect analytics from you. Analytics are visible only to LaunchDesk administrators.
5. Service providers
We share information only as needed with providers that help us operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery), and with government agencies when you authorize a filing. Owner notifications about inquiries and orders include only what is needed to respond.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is role-based with row-level security, and administrator accounts can use multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep order and filing records as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and tax recordkeeping requirements, then delete or anonymize them. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us; some records may need to be retained where required by law.
8. Children
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Questions? Contact us.
